A new eight-episode show for HGTV, Rico to the Rescue (wt), stars builder Rico León as he salvages Denver homeowners’ home renovations that have gone bad. Rico, motivated by the experience of his parents with crooked contractors, advocates for desperate families in need of an expert who is empathetic. He will tour the house in each episode to assess the projects, resolve issues with the builder, and develop a renovation and design plan to turn the construction nightmare into a dream house. Early 2023 is the slated premiere date for Rico to the Rescue (wt).
Fueled by his parents’ past experience with a rogue contractor, Rico is an advocate for desperate families in need of an empathetic expert to fix their stressful situations.
In each episode, he and his expert team will tour the house to assess projects, work to resolve issues with the builder, and create a renovation and design plan to turn the construction nightmare into a beautiful home. Rico to the Rescue is scheduled to premiere in early 2023.
“No one wants to be stuck in a house that doesn’t work for them because of a job that wasn’t done right,” said Loren Ruch, senior vice president of HGTV’s programming and development group. “We all want someone honest and trustworthy like Rico to show up at our door when we need a renovation bailout.”
